It’s all there on Facebook.

News, socialization, vacation and graduation pics, hilarious memes, friend requests, ads, blog posts, business resources, status updates, movie reviews, selfies, challenges, videos, recipes, live videos, marches and protests, art, messages, inspiration, local and worldwide events, and everything else.

And that’s one social media platform. Think about what’s available for us to consume on Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and o my goodness, Pinterest!

As consumers of information, we have more than enough ways to find out the latest real and fake news, discover the latest trends, learn how to make buffalo chicken pasta, connect with anyone in the world, and shop to our heart’s content.

Which is why I hate Facebook.

It’s too much. And sometimes I can’t social media. Sorry, but I’m ghost on my social networks for stretches of time, even though I know how important it is to have an online presence as a business owner.

Can you feel me?

I decided to seek advice to address my disdain for Facebook from a dear friend that I met a little over a year ago. I’m confident that her advice will ring true for you too.

Betsy Kent, the founder of Be Visible, a successful marketing business, chatted with me about social media strategies we can apply in our businesses, especially if we struggle to maintain a consistent online presence.

Watch our chat and discover how to fall in love with Facebook again.

(Okay, that’s a stretch. How about understanding it better.)

Wasn’t that a chat full of golden nuggets? I adore Betsy and respect her immensely. She’s a natural and it’s obvious she loves what she does. Make sure to check out her website, www.bevisible.co, and download her workbook, Five Things You Must Know About Your Ideal Client.
